２０１９年に「かつてない音楽」など作れるのだろうか。
正面からのオリジナルな作品など作れるのだろうか。
恐らくそれはとても難しい。
しかし、そういった気概を忘れずに、諦めずに続けていれば何かしらの手応えを掴むこともある。
東京を中心に長年活動するバンド「俺はこんなもんじゃない」の５枚目。
メンバーは、TVCMや映画の音楽、国内/海外の大型フェスの出演、音楽教師などとして、表立って活動をしている。
楽曲は、音楽の基礎に立ち返ったうえで、様々なアイデアを試しているような趣がある。
単純さも複雑さもあり、達者な演奏も、そうでない演奏も同居している。
年齢や出身など、９人のメンバー構成もバラバラである。
まあ、一言でいえばロック〜ジャズ要素のある、室内楽寄りの実験的なインストゥルメンタル音楽である。
しかし、そう言い切りたくない、余剰の部分、どこか割り切れなさというか、ある種の居心地の悪さのようなものがある。
そこには、目に見えないけれど確かに存在する時代の空気がある。
・プロフィール
「俺はこんなもんじゃないと思っているドラムヤロー募集」という紙をたまたま目にして命名。そんな思いつきのバンド名のまま早、活動１８年。
これまで４枚のアルバムを発表し、SXSWやアメリカツアー、イースタンユース主催の極東最前線などに出演。
近年はフルート、サックス×2、ギター×２、鍵盤、ベース、パーカッション、ドラムスの９人編成で、やや複雑な音楽を奏でる。
メンバーはそれぞれ、goat、MUDDY WORLD、しゃしくえ、1983、トクマルシューゴ、Kenichiro Nishihara、王舟、などに在籍。
また、映画やCM音楽、楽曲提供の世界で作家として活動。
アルバムタイトル LAMINAはANIMALを逆読みしたものである。

up, not forget that kind of spirit, and we may get some response.
The fifth piece of the band "I'm not such a guy" who has been active
for many years, mainly in Tokyo.
Members are active as TVCM, movie music, appearances of domestic /
overseas large festivals, music teachers, etc.
The music looks like you are trying out various ideas after going back to the basics of music. It is both simple and complex, and both good and bad performers live together.
The composition of nine members, such as age and origin, is also broken down.
Well, in a nutshell, it's an experimental instrumental music with room
music, with rock and jazz elements.
But there is something that you don't want to say, surplus, something
indivisible, or some kind of uncomfortable feeling.
There is an air of the age that is invisible but certainly exists.

Named by chance when saw the paper "I want a drum Yarrow looking for
something like this."
The band name of such an idea is as early as 18 years of activity.
Released four albums so far, and has appeared on the SXSW, the
American Tour, and the Far Eastern Forefront organized by Eastern
Youth.
In recent years, the flute, saxophone x 2, guitar x 2, keyboard, bass,percussion, drums, and nine people, playing a somewhat complicated
music.
Album Title "LAMINA" is a reverse reading of "ANIMAL".
